Duangtawan Hotel Chiang Mai

This hotel has activities every morning at 9 a.m. and 6 a.m. They offer sessions like yoga, Zumba, or aerobic dance, and you can join anytime. They have very good instructors who will guide you through the classes. Another good thing is the hotel’s location — it’s excellent. The price is also much cheaper compared to 5-star hotels like Marriott, Shangri-La, or Intercontinental. The food here is delicious, especially the breakfast, which has many varieties. They also have a restaurant that serves Korean food(buffet ) When you check in, they provide breakfast for the next morning and a welcome drink. They also offer a 30% discount for massage services, so you should definitely take advantage of it. The only downside is that they don’t provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so you need to bring your own. The hotel is a bit old especially the furnitures.

Amazing location so close to walk to the Night bazaar and many restaurants. The cleaner looked so busy with so many rooms not sure if they were short staffed. Great view and swimming pool. Variety for breakfast was amazing.

A fantastic hotel in an even better location. We stayed somewhere out of the centre the night before and to move to this hotel closer to the centre was really helpful. The room was clean it’s had a lovely swimming pool. It also has a restaurant and a gym inside which we didn’t have time to use as we were only there 1 night. Would recommend

We stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience  The location is absolutely excellent, with easy access to restaurants, night market and convenient shops.  The rooms and common areas were well maintained and clean. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were smooth and efficient. The facilities were okay. While the basics like air conditioning worked well, WIFI connection speed was slow and some amenities felt a bit dated or limited compared to other hotels in the same price range. A few upgraded could really enhance the overall experience.

The hotel feels stuck in another era. Everything is dated and pale, with interiors that seem from the 1980s. The shower has separate hot and cold valves, weak pressure, and poor temperature control. Lighting in the bathroom is dim and cold, making it hard to see clearly. The beds are extremely hard. It took a few nights to get used to them, but they’re still uncomfortable. Some staff are polite, others quite rude. When I extended my stay, they couldn’t adjust the rate, so I had to rebook through Trip.com. Breakfast is mediocre, with limited edible options. The location is great, right by the night market and across from the Marriott. The gym is excellent and well equipped, probably the best part of the hotel. The terrace pool also looks nice. The place has good potential, but it feels like a ghost of what it once was. Many facilities are closed or underused. If they ever renovate it, it could become a top hotel again. For now, it’s an affordable but tired four-star at best.

The accomodation is great. It is accessible for public transport, near Tha Phae Gate, it has a 7/11 shop infront, front desk officer is accomodating.
